What's the skinny on alt.country chick Libbi Bosworth?
This card-carrying Texan tried to shuck the aw-shucks at an early
age by flirting with the bright lights of Hollywood, New York,
Boston and Nashville before realizing her heart and music would
always belong to Texas.
Country music in the hearts of her mother and father, Libbi
not only listened to country music as a child but in many ways
lived it (we'll save that for the book, assuming Anna Nicole
signs on for the movie). Then rebellion came, as it always does
in youth, and Libbi found herself playing her first gig at New
York City's The Dive. Replete with peace signs shaved into her
hair and seven ear piercings, that rebellion eventually made
way for a return to her mother's and father's music. Thankfully,
she only has the ear piercings to show for it; it was long before
the tattoo and tongue splitting rage. Whew.
Part alt.country gal and full-time mother, Libbi presently
lives a stone's throw from San Antonio and Austin, and is recovering
from a vocal cord injury which limits her singing to the shower.
In the meantime, she writes short stories, changes diapers,
and plays the role of soccer mom--in a Ford F-150.
